Give Projecto Zoe a roof!
“Projecto Zoe” is located right on the beach and provides a safe place for the community of Lauro de Freitas that face daily crime and poverty.
Projecto Zoe, founded by André Galvão in 2019 on Ipitanga Beach, in the city of Lauro de Freitas, which is one of the poorest communities in Salvador Brazil. Drug and alcohol addiction is one of the biggest causes of violence in the community, and impacts the lives of many.

‘Zoe’ is more than a surfing project; It is a project dedicated to spiritual rescue and social transformation.
Romário testimony:
"At 13, I discovered surfing, and at 16, I became part of Zoe, which brought peace and joy to my heart. At that time, violence and drugs were out of control where I lived, and I was on the verge of getting involved in the criminal world. I was struck by seeing surfers with Bibles, helping and uplifting our communitiy. The invitation to accept Jesus scared me, the moment I choose to follow Him it transformed my life."

The project serves around 50 kids and also uplifts the families of the kids as they face daily crime and poverty. The project is a space where the kids and families can belong and grow.
